What is ABA?

ABA – or Applied Behavior Analysis – is a science that uses what we know about learning to understand behavior and teach new skills. A goal of ABA is that it focuses on behaviors that are socially significant – meaning, behaviors that are important for the individual, the family, those in the individual’s life, or the community. At ABA Collective, we believe in an emphasis on individualized assessment and teaching so that each of our clients receives the care that is right for them and their family.
